change color in middle where the description / product is displayed

hello first of all thank you and great work. I am actually using openshop but i would like to change the middle white backgroung to black as the main background i changed it but this one i dont see any option could you please telll me how to do it as all my writing is in white and we cant read it and so as to match my other shop too

OpenShop doesn't have buitin ability to change text background.

You need to use some OpenCart theme with the desired design. You can look at them here - http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension&path=1 (there a lot of free themes also there)
